All the information we collect is related to providing the ESSENCE OF BELLYDANCE™ Online service and its features.
The security and confidentiality of your data is particularly important to us. The collection and use of your personal data is solely carried out under the statutory provisions of the applicable data protection law. This Privacy Statement is to inform you about what personal information we collect through your use of ESSENCE OF BELLYDANCE™ and for what purpose the data is used.
The legal basis of data protection can be found in the German Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG) and the Telemedia Act (TMG).
We are committed to protecting our users’ information. Your password protects your user account, so you should use a unique and strong password, limit access to your computer and browser, and log out after having used the ESSENCE OF BELLYDANCE™ Service. While we take data protection precautions, no security measures are completely secure, and we do not guarantee the security of user information.
To protect your data, we use TLS encryption (AES 256 bit) in the transmission in both directions (upload + download). The transfer takes place via the HTTPS protocol.
If you contact us (for example via a contact form or e-mail), we store the information you provide for the purpose of processing your request and for the event of subsequent questions.
When you open an user account on ESSENCE OF BELLYDANCE™ Online, we collect the following data:

E-mail address
Password (encrypted)
On acquisition of a fee-based service, we collect the following data for the purpose of billing:
First and Last Name
Address
For the payment transaction we use the payment service Braintree by PayPal.
The information you enter into the payment form are entered directly into the system of Braintree and can not be read or stored by us.
With our newsletter we inform you about us and our offers. If you want to receive the newsletter, we require a valid e-mail address and information that allow us to verify that you are the owner of the email address or that you agree to receiving the newsletter. Further data is not collected. These data are used only for sending the newsletter and will not be disclosed to third parties.
By registering for the newsletter, we store your IP address and date of registration. This process ensures that no third party signs up for the newsletter using your data.
Your agreement to the storage of data, e-mail address and to receiving our newsletter can be revoked at any time. The revocation can be made via a link in the newsletter itself.
With the Training Reminders we remind you of your workout. You can personalize or disable the Training Reminders any time in your account settings. With the Announcements we inform you about important changes and new components to ESSENCE OF BELLYDANCE™ online as well as to this Privacy Policy and our Terms of Use. You can disable the Announcements in your account settings.
We collect data on each access to the ESSENCE OF BELLYDANCE™ Online Service (so-called server log files).
To access data include:
Name of the requested Web page, file, date and time of access, amount of data transferred, notification of successful retrieval, browser type along with version, the operating system of the user, referrer URL (previously visited), IP address and the requesting provider.
We use the data only for the purpose of operation, security and the optimization of our service. We maintain the right, however, to check the information belatedly if there is reasonable suspicion of unlawful use due to concrete indications.
Within of ESSENCE OF BELLYDANCE™ Online we use services and content from other websites (hereinafter referred to as "Third Party Content"), such as videos from YouTube and Vimeo, maps from Google Maps or graphics. This assumes that the provider of such content may use your IP address. Without the IP address, they can not send their content to your browser. The IP address is therefore necessary for the presentation of that content. We strive to use only services and content of providers who are using the IP address only for the delivery of content. However, we have no control over how the third party uses your IP address. Forasmuch as is known to us, we clarify our users about it.

We do not combine the information collected through the use of Google Analytics with personally identifiable information. Although Google Analytics plants a permanent cookie on your web browser to identify you as a unique user the next time you visit this site, the cookie cannot be used by anyone but Google. Google’s ability to use and share information collected by Google Analytics about your visits to this site is restricted by the Google Analytics Terms of Use and the Google Privacy Policy. If you sign up for ESSENCE OF BELLYDANCE™ Online through the third party Facebook we share some information with them and they share some information with us in order to enable your account.

If you are a Facebook member and do not want that Facebook collects your data about using ESSENCE OF BELLYDANCE™ Online and stores it in your Facebook member data, do not connect your ESSENCE OF BELLYDANCE™ account with your Facebook profile.
You have the right to get information over the personal data that we have stored from you free of charge. In addition, you have the right to correct inaccurate data, block and delete any of your personal data, as far as the there is no legal obligation for us to retain it. You can request data deletion by by contacting us through our customer care service@essencebellydance.com.
Occasionally we may, in our discretion, make changes to the Agreements. When we make material changes to the Agreements, we’ll provide you with prominent notice as appropriate under the circumstances, e.g., by displaying a prominent notice within the Service or by sending you an email. In some cases, we will notify you in advance, and your continued use of the Service after the changes have been made will constitute your acceptance of the changes. Please therefore make sure you read any such notice carefully. If you do not wish to continue using the Service under the new version of the Agreements, you may terminate the Agreements by contacting us through our customer care at service@essencebellydance.com.
